St Edmund’s Nursery School is committed to being transparent about how it collects and uses the personal information about staff, pupils, parents and other individuals who come into contact with the nursery, and to meeting its data protection obligations. We also collect information about people who apply for our training courses. This information is used to process applications and to provide a register for the course. Data is held securely, and will not be shared or used for any other purpose.
You have the right to get a copy of the information that is held about you. This is known as a subject access request. To make a subject access request, email office@stedmundsbradford.org.uk. The Information Commissioner's Office has provided more information about how to request your personal information, or information about your child, here.
We use lots of photographs and videos of children and families who come to our children’s centres on posters, leaflets, in staff training and on our website and Facebook page. We hope that these are a source of pleasure and pride which enhance self-esteem for children and families.
We ask parents on the admissions form for permission to take photos and videos. If permission is given for us to take photos and videos, they may be used on any of our publicity materials. If you do not want us to take photos of you or your child please make sure that you let us know.
We delete all Facebook posts within 2 months of posting, photos on our website might stay for considerably longer.
